If only you'd listen, if only you'll just stop for a second and hear me out. I don't want to be stubborn, I don't want to be disrespectful, I Don't want to be rude, I don't want to be irresponsible but it seems it's the only thing that gets your attention, it seems as though, its the only language you understand. If only you'll pay close attention to my cries and let me do the speaking while you listen without yelling just for once.
I make mistakes, Yes, but I wish you'd hear me out before judging, I take wrong decisions but I wish there are less fights while you correct me.
The more fights we have, the farther I drift away from the control of your voice.
I wish you'd rather bless me than curse me.
I wish you'd rather draw me than push me away.
I wish you'd correct me in love than passing me out to the world as a failure and disgrace.
There's a cry and longing in my heart that only the ear of a Father can listen to.........
